I have been guiding for Greenwich Royal Tours since its inception, at the time of the London Olympics. In the past I have worked as a tour director in Canada, the Caribbean and in East Africa where I led small group tours to Zanzibar.

Ever since Roman times, we have sought out a local guide in order to learn more about a new destination - the people, the sites, the history and the culture. When I first arrived in Greenwich, there was very little on offer in the way of a half day or full day guided walking tour.

Above all, I have a passion for Greenwich and for London - city of my birth. My work is my pleasure as I attempt to share with tour guests those things that I like and that interest me, in the hope that they will feel the same way. See you on tour some time soon!

I studied Fine Art at Goldsmith’s college and became interested in painting and
photography there. For several years I specialised in garden photography, which gave me the opportunity to see the best gardens in
the UK and Ireland. I began guiding from the very start of Greenwich Royal Tours and was able to draw on a range of experiences to help with the tours. I had run and taught workshops in drawing and photography, so I was used to taking groups of people out exploring London, and also looking at English Gardens.

This came together in the ‘Secret Gardens Tour’ and it meant searching out some of the best and little known garden spaces in London, which we have shared with visitors over the last three years. I also started taking the Greenwich Tours and this has been a great experience - exploring the fantastic maritime history of the area.
My great interest, however, has always been painting. We are launching our new Art In London Tour this season which will include art treasures in the National Gallery, the Portrait Gallery and the Wallace Collection. A full day tour complete with a lovely English high tea. See you on tour!

I am an experienced, qualified guide and have been guiding for over 5 years. I have lived in this part of London for over forty years and I am very passionate about this great city.

I love its history, architecture, people, traditions, and pageantry. Greenwich is one of  my favourite places to guide and I love showing visitors around its historic buildings and world heritage sites such as the Cutty Sark and magnificent Painted Hall.

I am very excited to be guiding our new Best of London Tour launching this season. We visit historic Westminster in the morning, pause for a lovely pub lunch, before exploring the City in the afternoon.

I love travelling, photography and watching football. Look forward to seeing you on tour some time soon.

I was born and raised in Greenwich and I have a strong affinity for this beautiful part of London.
The reasons why I adore Greenwich are endless.           Highlights of Greenwich for me include the Royal Observatory, Teaclipper Cutty Sark and the newly opened Painted Hall.

I am specially enjoying guiding on our Greenwich Food Tour where we have the opportunity to visit some of the "foody gems" located here in Greenwich. As a proponent of "healthy good food" it is a pleasure to show guests hidden away eateries that only as locals know about .

My mission as your tour guide is to share my passion that I have for Greenwich with you. Hope to see you on tour some time soon!
